Description

Product information HIOKI RM9004 - Probe Head for RM2610 Electrode Sheet Measurement System

The HIOKI RM9004 is a precision probe head designed for use with the RM2610 Electrode Sheet Measurement System. It provides the critical contact interface needed to electrically test lithium-ion battery electrode sheets after the calendering process.

Its probe tip integrates 46 ultra-fine, spring-loaded pins within a 1 mm² contact area, ensuring a stable, uniform connection to the sheet surface. This dense and carefully balanced pin arrangement minimises the risk of surface damage while enabling highly repeatable measurements on calendered electrodes.

By ensuring reliable contact, the RM9004 plays a central role in accurately determining both the volume resistivity of the composite layer and the interface resistance with the collector foil. As a replaceable component, it also helps maintain system performance and uptime without requiring replacement of the entire measurement assembly.

Handling note: Never clean the RM9004 probe head with isopropanol alcohol or other liquids, as these can permanently damage the probe. Always follow HIOKI’s official cleaning instructions to ensure proper maintenance and long service life.
