The HIOKI MR9001-01 Real-time Saving Function for the MR8848 Memory Recorder enables long-duration waveform recording by writing data directly to external storage media. Users can choose from a variety of storage options, including an optional built-in 1 TB SSD unit, or external devices, such as SD cards or USB drives. Depending on the selected medium, sampling rates and writing speeds of up to 1 MS/s are possible. The recorded data are stored in binary format and can be further processed using compatible HIOKI software.

This real-time saving function enables continuous, long-term data recording without the need to interrupt testing to transfer data from internal memory. It also ensures that data is securely retained even in the event of a power outage or unexpected shutdown – offering a level of protection that volatile internal memory cannot provide.
