The DT4256-20 is a general-purpose digital multimeter that offers versatile measurement capabilities, including 10A direct input for AC/DC current and voltage (True RMS), resistance, and capacitance. Additional features include continuity testing and diode testing. The multimeter is equipped with convenient functions such as automatic range selection, a filter function, a hold function for display values, auto-hold, and MAX/MIN/average value display.

It also supports relative value display and includes an auto power-saving function (APS). For added flexibility, USB communication is available via an optional adapter. Using an optional current clamp, the current measuring range can be extended to 1000A. The multimeter is rated for measurement categories CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V, ensuring safety across various applications.
